Butterfly with no wings...

A woman. Literal meaning: a female human being. A human being! But sometimes we tend to forget this very basic concept. With approximately 3418059380 females around the world, why is it that they are still a victim of extremism and violence? Why aren’t they been given an equal and fair chance of living?
Forgetting about the modern women and those having successful careers and perfect life, both professional and personal, let’s just focus on that part of our society where a girl is still considered as a curse and burden that need to be shed off as soon as she is born.
Marriage. Something very important in our life. It is when two people decide to get married and start off a new life. Together they dream about a beautiful life together and work day and night to fulfil them. But sometimes, they are just building castles in air. They are not living a life they think they are. The other person is not who they thought would be. And sometimes, such marriages become disastrous.
Lie is one of the most important and a very common reason for such disasters happening around us. Men lying about their true identity or their real self and them showing a false picture to the bride side is so wrong yet so universal it is not even funny. Even if it is the other way round.  Girls are not born saint, but they are the ones at the receiving ends, most of the times. And this is when most part of our society is educated, modern and civilized. But alas! We are not who we think we are. We belong to this very same society where some of our own relatives contribute to such irrational taboo. Women are weak so they need to be suppressed. Really? Why? Just because they are physically incompatible? Cliché. Why can’t we understand that they (women) are as delicate as glass dolls, or they have a pair of ribs more than men? They are smart enough to make the millions and strong enough to bear the children.
Men have this huge ego that they keep on maintaining whole their life. ‘Thank me for I have married you, or else you would have been a foreboding husbandless girl, whose parents would have been worried sick.’ Or, “Bear with me, you have no other choice.”
She is the one who left her house for you, dropped her father’s name for you, accepted your name, bear your children, you slept while she attended them, they carried your name and not her, she took care of your children and became your attendant in your fee time, she endured whatever you gave her, looked after your parents, when you were out for work, or partying out with your friends. She keeps on staying awake till you return home safe. She cooks for you, cleans up for you, changes herself for you and still at the end, all she gets to hear from you is, ‘what have you done for me?’
Do not think women as your keep. They have a heart, like men. They breathe, like they do. And above all, they are a citizen of an independent free country. They hold equal rights as men. All it need is a moment of analyzing and realizing that who is doing a favor to whom.

Right or Wrong?

Every person has a reason for his existence. What if he/she can’t find the reason for his/her existence? What if he/she cannot find the right reason to live? Is waiting for that one day when everything will be fine is enough for a person to keep living his/her life?
If that is so, then why Almighty did gave us the power to dream? Why thinking and dreaming is a major element of our survival? Can we really just rely on our fate and let things be the way they are? Then, perhaps fantasizing is my fate. Probably, I’m searching my solace in my fantasies.
According to many therapists and science, fantasies are not frivolous. They can be arousing, distracting, scaring, and even entertaining, but they also allow for space for creativity and helps in planning one’s future. But still there is a slight difference between fantasies and realities, which we call hallucinating and/or schizophrenia. Rather, the fantasies provide a sweet and pleasant escape from the horrible things that exist in realities.
Isn’t that the reason why people write fictions? Remember all the fairy tales that we used to read in our childhood? Haven’t the girls dreamt of growing their hair long after reading Rupanzel? Or the boys haven’t imagined themselves as the Ninja Turtles or Sumarai Sam? Or if we step of fictions, what about the TV commercials and advertisements that we watch every day? If I’m using an XYZ fairness cream, I’m gonna find a handsome hunk. Or if I drink ABC beverage, I’ll become adventurous and overcome fears. If I use a certain deodorant/perfume, I’ll become the life of party.
If practicality and reality is important, then why are we still living in fantasies? Why are people playing with our emotions through such books and commercials?  We let our children watch cartoons, but aren’t we pushing them towards fantasies ourselves? And then when they grow up, we tell them this is not real. This doesn’t happen in reality. You are living far from real world.

We live in our fantasies and endure our realities. I’m a fantasy lover. Right or wrong I can hardly tell, but I know I’m on the wrong side of heavens and on the righteous side of hell.

Scenarios of Fantasies...

Realities are harsh, fantasies are amazing. We know the brutality of reality while we still prefer to live in our fantasies. Why? Ain't the realities hitting on us the right way? Or are we too indifferent to them? Is dreaming a crime? Or being too much practical has won the battle? What is the answer to all these questions? Only a person who wishes to live in his/her dreamland and aims to fulfill their dreams can understand and find the answers to all these questions.
Just looking inside us and asking sincerely will do the major job. Imagination is creativity and only the creative and strong people can manage to imagine fantasy while still live in real world. For me, living in fantasies is not a crime. I'm a 23 year old mature girl. I know the true faces of people, and this world and yet I live in fantasies. A friend of mine who is same age as of mine, prefers to be practical and think in a very logical and straight forward way. While I, on the other hand, have imagined myself in different situation, different myself, how I wanted certain things to be, and if they are according to how I want them to be, then how am I going to deal with them. Switching personalities, places, clothes, and even the social circle are part of my fantasies. Thinking about the handsome hunks of television is fantasy, imagining myself with them, doing whatever they are doing, travelling the world with them, imagining myself to be the protagonist of some cliche novels. But I still ask this one question to myself repeatedly; am I going insane? Is it craziness to fantasize things? Is it a crime to dream? Or living in reality and being practical is always the right choice?
Maybe one day we'll find the place where our dreams and reality collide.
I ask all the people reading (if) this blog to share their views about this argument. Whether or not should we live in fantasies?
